Job summary

Egis is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer (Development Infrastructure) for our Cork-based Infrastructure team. You will lead delivery of residential and mixed-use projects across Ireland, working with developers, authorities and design teams.

The role emphasizes ownership from planning through construction support, with opportunities to grow the Cork operation. The successful candidate will bring a strong track record in development infrastructure, Chartered status, and excellent project

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Chartered Engineer status with Engineers Ireland/ICE or equivalent.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant civil engineering design and project delivery experience.
• Strong experience in the Irish residential development sector.
• Experience managing relationships with private developers and public sector bodies.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design and delivery of residential and mixed-use development projects.
• Manage projects through feasibility, planning, detailed design, tender and construction support.
• Act as Project Manager and Design Lead on multidisciplinary schemes.
• Coordinate and manage external stakeholders, clients, local authorities and design team partners.
• Mentor and support junior engineers and technicians; manage resources, programmes and budgets.
