Job description

Allsite Staffing is currently recruiting an experienced Senior Civil Engineer for a well-established and growing engineering consultancy expanding its Limerick office.

This is an excellent opportunity for a well-rounded Civil Engineer who wants to take a lead role in the delivery of varied civil and infrastructure projects across Ireland, while also contributing to the continued growth of the Limerick team.

Working within a multidisciplinary consultancy environment, you will take responsibility for projects from concept and planning through detailed design and construction.

The role requires strong, broad-based civil engineering experience, particularly across:

• Roads and site infrastructure
• Drainage and SuDS
• Water services and utilities
• Traffic and transportation engineering
• Site development and infrastructure design

You will work closely with clients, architects, planners and other engineering disciplines, providing practical and commercially focused engineering solutions while helping to mentor and develop junior members of the team.

You will have exposure to a diverse portfolio including:

• Residential developments – low-rise and high-rise
• Local Authority and LDA housing schemes
• Hotels and hospitality
• Industrial and manufacturing facilities
• Healthcare and education projects
• Refurbishment and adaptive reuse projects
• Commercial fit-out and redevelopment schemes

We are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who have:

• A Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
• 6 years plus expereince
• Strong consultancy experience within the Irish market
• Strong knowledge of roads, drainage, water services/utilities and foul drainage
• Experience managing projects through different stages of design and construction
• Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary design teams
• Strong client-facing and communication skills
• Experience mentoring or supporting junior engineers
• Chartered Engineer status, or working towards Chartership, would be advantageous
