Jobgether is partnering with a studio in Ireland to find a senior Character Art Director (Stylized Games | Mobile) for a fully remote role. You will shape the visual identity of an unannounced mobile game, leading a global team, and elevating character quality across production.

The role combines hands-on artistry with setting high standards, mentoring artists, and collaborating with cross‑regional teams to deliver expressive, memorable characters for mobile platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional game art experience including leadership roles such as Character Art Director or Art Director.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating stylized character design and expressive storytelling.
• Deep understanding of character appeal, silhouette, color theory, and expressive details.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain a cohesive style for stylized characters across production.
• Guide character design from concept to in-game implementation.
• Provide hands-on sketches, paintovers, and visual references to communicate direction.
