Job summary

Sodexo is seeking a Catering Business Manager in Limerick, Ireland. This hands-on leadership role oversees kitchen operations, onsite restaurants, hospitality events and vending services, driving customer experience and commercial performance.

You will lead your team, manage budgets and deliver against targets, while collaborating with the client and Sodexo teams to maximise sales opportunities and ensure regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in business management or related role.
• Strong commercial awareness and budgeting experience.
• Excellent customer service and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience leading, motivating and developing teams.
• Strong communication and organisational skills with attention to detail.
• Proficiency with systems and data to monitor performance.
• Experience in health & safety and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage day-to-day delivery of kitchen, restaurant, hospitality and vending services.
• Drive sales growth and customer loyalty; identify opportunities to improve experience.
• Manage staffing levels and rotas in line with trading patterns and budget.
• Monitor financial performance; support monthly P&L reporting and forecasting.
• Manage client billing; prepare for monthly financial reviews.
• Control stock, cash, costs and wastage to protect profitability.
• Collaborate with the client and Sodexo teams to deliver excellent service.
• Lead, develop and train team through effective reviews and communication.
• Maintain high standards of food safety, hygiene and regulatory compliance.
• Use data and systems to monitor performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Support a strong sales culture and address any performance gaps.
• Work with wider teams to align strategy and enhance the food offer.
