Job summary

EirGrid is seeking a Senior Controller - Capacity in Dublin to support the Capacity Market and RESS. You will develop and operate business processes within the Capacity Funding and Delivery team, plan and coordinate work to a high standard within grid codes and SEMOpx rules.

The role requires a third-level qualification and 3+ years’ experience, with strong numeracy, analytical and stakeholder skills. You will join a team focused on delivering reliable, low-carbon electricity and supporting

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification in Business, IT, Finance or related discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant experience in a similar role.
• Experience coordinating and overseeing delivery of key tasks within a team.

Responsibilities

• Identify operational risks and escalate complex matters to the Manager and Head of Function as appropriate.
• Resolve general customer queries and co-ordinate dispute resolution in line with market codes.
• Conduct planned technical testing of internal systems and coordinate testing with IT.
• Maintain records to a high standard and support audits.
• Engage with Stakeholders including Suppliers, Generators and Regulators with strong service.
• Produce internal and external market reports and present data to stakeholders.
• Coordinate training and provide ongoing support to Controllers on key deliverables.
