Job summary

STRIVE Search is seeking a Building Services Engineer in Ireland to join a leading developer delivering housing and apartment projects. The role offers exposure to large-scale residential developments and clear progression opportunities.

You will coordinate M&E installations, work with design teams, and supervise subcontractors while ensuring quality and programme goals are met. A degree in Building Services is required.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering.
• Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a similar role with a developer or main contractor.
• Strong knowledge of M&E systems in residential construction projects.

Responsibilities

• Managing and monitoring the quality of M&E installations from early coordination through to commissioning and handover.
• Supporting site teams with the coordination of mechanical and electrical services and resolving on-site issues.
• Coordinating with design teams to ensure integration of M&E systems with architectural and structural elements.
• Overseeing M&E subcontractors to ensure delivery in line with programme and quality expectations.
• Providing guidance to junior team members to ensure consistency in M&E standards across projects.
• Liaising with utility providers and local authorities to ensure timely provision of services.
• Assisting in development and updating of M&E processes and documentation.
