Job summary

Designer Group in Ireland seeks a BIM Coordinator to support BIM-led projects across the business. You will develop, coordinate and maintain MEP models, drawings and project information through construction and handover, ensuring deliverables are coordinated, buildable and aligned with project requirements.

The role requires a minimum of 3 years in BIM coordination, strong Revit MEP and Navisworks skills, and experience with ACC and ISO 19650.

Qualifications

• Relevant BIM, Engineering, Building Services or Construction qualification or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in BIM Coordination, BIM Modelling or MEP Coordination.
• Strong understanding of MEP systems, service coordination and installation methodologies.
• Proficiency in Revit MEP and Navisworks, including model development and clash detection.
• Working knowledge of ISO 19650 and project BIM documentation.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate multidisciplinary BIM models and maintain drawing and information controls.
• Undertake clash detection and support issue resolution through to close-out.
• Review BIM documentation and identify missing or conflicting information.
• Produce and coordinate fabrication deliverables in line with project requirements.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Project, Site and design teams to resolve coordination matters.
• Apply project BIM requirements, standards, QA procedures and naming conventions.
• Use ACC to collaborate, publish models and manage issues.
• Maintain drawing registers, model exchange records and action trackers.
• Guide junior BIM team members and ensure output quality and consistency.
• Utilise site surveys and field data to update models and drawings.
