Job summary

Flynn is seeking an experienced BIM Co-Ordinator to join our Dublin team. You will work with commercial teams, contracts managers, clients and design teams to deliver precise BIM models and documentation aligned with ISO 19650 standards.

Reporting to the BIM Manager, you will develop BIM execution plans, coordinate workflows, and manage clash detections within a fast-paced construction environment. A degree in BIM and strong Revit expertise are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree in Building Information Modelling (Level 7/8) or related Eng/Arch degree preferable.
• 5+ years’ experience in a related field (main contractor experience advantageous).
• Excellent knowledge in Revit Architecture; some knowledge of MEP and Structures.
• Experience with Revit, NavisWorks; understanding of Dynamo desirable but not essential.
• ISO 19650 knowledge.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of BIM procedures, protocols and data management tools.
• Good understanding of construction sequencing and on-site works.
• Passion for digitalising common construction practices and ability to influence technology usage.
• Self-starter with excellent communications skills; good judgment under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate development of BIM execution plans to meet project quality standards.
• Produce detailed 3D BIM models per project requirements.
• Ensure models align with BIM Execution Plan and workflows.
• Collaborate with internal and external disciplines.
• Create BIM modelling content; set up Revit families and templates.
• Develop construction drawings and extract data.
• Maintain the Common Data Environment (CDE) and ensure ISO standards.
• Conformity checks on Revit models and clash detections in Navisworks.
• Liaise with sub-contractors and design teams to align objectives.
• Monitor implementation of BIM plans and continuously develop BIM knowledge.
