Job summary

Lilly is seeking a Business Intelligence Developer (P1-P3) to advance data modelling, pipelines, and analytics for finance operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data solutions and AI-ready models, using Fabric, Databricks notebooks, and Snowflake.

You will build Power BI reports and ensure governance across datasets, with strong stakeholder communication across time zones.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data modelling and schema design.
• 3+ years building data pipelines using PySpark and notebooks (Databricks, Fabric, or similar).
• 5+ years developing, deploying and maintaining analytical models in production environments.
• 5+ years' experience in data visualization in Power BI.
• Skilled in leveraging DAX in Power BI.
• Hands-on experience writing and deploying code using GitHub across environments.
• Experience using Jira in agile or structured delivery environments.
• Strong understanding of financial data structures and reporting requirements.
• Familiarity with SAP S4, Ariba, and other finance-related data sources is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data models using modern data platforms (e.g., Microsoft Fabric, Databricks, Snowflake).
• Develop and maintain data pipelines using Fabric/Databricks notebooks and PySpark for large-scale data transformation.
• Deploy and operationalise analytical models and data pipelines across business workflows.
• Collaborate with finance teams, data engineers, and analysts to deliver data solutions.
• Design and implement Power BI reports with advanced analytics.
• Build and maintain datasets that integrate SAP and non-SAP financial data sources.
• Ensure metadata for lineage and governance is accurate.
• Write, test, and promote code through GitHub following release processes.
• Track and manage project work using Jira with clear visibility.
• Adhere to enterprise data standards and governance frameworks.
• Determine data integration methods and interpret information to drive recommendations.
