Archer Recruitment is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer for a growing fintech in Dublin. You will own backend design, influence architecture, and shape a brand-new platform from the ground up.

Working with senior engineers and stakeholders in a modern AWS environment, you will build scalable services, data workflows with Airflow, and API-driven systems while owning critical backend components. Path to lead role exists as the team expands.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering with a backend focus.
• Hands-on Python development experience.
• Production systems on AWS experience.
• Strong understanding of scalable backend architectures and API design.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python.
• Build and manage data workflows using Airflow.
• Develop, deploy, and scale cloud-native applications on AWS.
• Contribute to architecture and technical decision-making across the platform.
• Support CI/CD initiatives and engineering best practices.
