Job summary

SiriusXM Dublin is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Device Services team within Growth Engineering. You will design, build, operate, and evolve high‑throughput services for device identity, authentication, and lifecycle, supporting startup and trusted access across SiriusXM apps.

Collaborate with User & Identity, Vehicle Services, Client SDK, Platform, and Data Engineering teams to deliver reliable end‑to‑end experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• Experience with backend services on JVM languages (Scala/Java/Kotlin).
• Experience designing RESTful web APIs in enterprise settings.
• Deep knowledge of distributed systems and production workloads.
• Experience with AWS in production environments.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, operate, and evolve high-throughput services for device identity and authentication.
• Develop low-latency systems on the critical startup path for client applications.
• Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to deliver end-to-end experiences.
• Drive software quality through design reviews, testing strategies, and operational excellence.
• Investigate production issues and improve reliability, observability, and performance.
• Participate in architecture discussions shaping the device trust platform.
