Job summary

Join Taktile as a Senior Backend Engineer to design and operate Python-based backend services on AWS, powering real-time decision platforms for banks and fintechs. You will own end-to-end architecture, drive performance improvements, and mentor peers in a fast-growing, hybrid-work environment with global collaboration.

You'll operate on data infrastructure powering our feature computation platform, and work closely with Product and Design to shape the next generation of autonomous decisioning

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in a senior capacity.
• Deep Python expertise for backend systems on AWS.
• Strong system design and architectural trade-offs.

Responsibilities

• Build and operate Python backend services on AWS.
• Tackle latency, reliability, and scale challenges.
• Own end-to-end architecture, deployment, and monitoring.
• Mentor teammates and improve tooling.
