Job summary

AVI-SPL UK & Ireland seeks a dedicated AV testing and commissioning lead to finalize complex audio-visual systems. You will collaborate with the Project Manager to deliver documented test results and ensure system performance.

Responsibilities include interpreting schematics, validating installations, and performing troubleshooting on AMX/Crestron and DSP platforms. Travel to job sites will be required. A high school diploma and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Professional written communication with clients and internal teams.
• Proven ability to read schematics and interpret blueprints.
• Experience with test and calibration equipment.
• Understanding of IP networking fundamentals.
• Advanced PC proficiency and ability to troubleshoot.
• Ability to work independently and manage changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electronic schematics and blueprints.
• Test point-to-point functionality of systems.
• Review SOW to ensure quality and completeness of installation.
• Test integrated systems and troubleshoot AMX/Crestron and DSP.
• Field installation of control programs – upload/download capability.
• Make minor programming changes under supervision.
