Job summary

Integrated Control Solutions Ltd in Cork is seeking an Automation Engineer to join a site-based team supporting a high-volume liquids facility. You will work on PLC, SCADA and S88-compliant Batch systems, plus other industrial controls, with a strong operations focus.

You will install, commission and modify control systems, troubleshoot faults, support continuous improvement, and maintain technical, batch and validation documentation while liaising with operations teams and external vendors.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in Engineering (or equivalent).
• 3+ years’ experience as Automation Engineer in an operational plant environment.
• Demonstrable experience with PLC/SCADA and batch systems in industrial settings.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day automation and batch system support to site operations as part of a multi-disciplinary automation team.
• PLC, SCADA and Batch configuration, programming and fault-finding.
• On-site installation, commissioning and modification of control and batch systems.
• Supporting continuous improvement initiatives related to batch performance, uptime and repeatability.
• Production, maintenance and control of technical, batch and validation documentation.
• Liaising closely with site stakeholders, operations teams and external vendors.
