Qualifications
- Experience designing PLC-based control systems for bespoke machinery.
- Strong programming and debugging of automation hardware.
- Ability to lead automation aspects of projects.
- Experience with commissioning and validation activities.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automation and control systems for bespoke machinery
- Program PLCs, HMIs, motion control and vision systems
- Develop electrical and hardware control system designs
- Support machine build, testing and factory acceptance activities
- Carry out commissioning and troubleshooting activities on customer sites
- Work closely with mechanical, electrical and manufacturing teams
- Develop technical documentation and support validation activities
- Lead automation aspects of projects and provide technical guidance when required
