Job summary

AVENTROSS PAC in Singapore is seeking an experienced Audit Senior / Senior Auditor to independently manage audit engagements from planning through completion.

Applicants should have at least 3 years of external audit experience in a public accounting firm, with strong SSA/SFRS knowledge and the ability to lead junior staff while communicating effectively with clients.

Qualifications

  • Degree/Diploma in Accountancy, ACCA or other relevant professional qualification
  • Minimum 3 years external audit experience
  • Experience in a public accounting/audit firm
  • Good knowledge of SSA and SFRS
  • Able to independently handle an audit engagement from planning to completion
  • Experience in preparing/reviewing financial statements and audit working papers
  • Able to supervise and review the work of junior team members
  • Good client communication and interpersonal skills
  • Responsible, organised and able to meet deadlines
  • Candidates with Singapore audit experience will have an advantage

  • Prepare and review audit working papers and financial statements
  • Apply a risk-based audit approach and identify key audit issues

  • Coach and guide junior staff during audit engagements
  • Monitor engagement progress and ensure deadlines are met
  • Assist the Audit Manager/Partner in resolving audit and accounting issues
  • Handle multiple audit engagements concurrently

Employment Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Audit Senior / Senior Auditor who is able to independently manage audit engagements from planning through completion.

This position is suitable for an auditor with at least 3 years of external audit experience in a public accounting/audit firm who is ready to take ownership of engagements, communicate directly with clients and guide junior team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage audit engagements independently from planning, fieldwork to completion
  • Perform and review audit work in accordance with Singapore Standards on Auditing (SSA)
  • Prepare and review audit working papers and financial statements
  • Apply a risk-based audit approach and identify key audit issues
  • Liaise directly with clients on audit, accounting and financial reporting matters
  • Review work performed by junior audit team members
  • Coach and guide junior staff during audit engagements
  • Monitor engagement progress and ensure assignments are completed within deadlines
  • Assist the Audit Manager / Partner in resolving audit and accounting issues
  • Handle multiple audit engagements concurrently
