Job summary

Signatus, in partnership with a leading commercial law firm, seeks a Senior Associate for its Structured Finance and Capital Markets team in Ireland. You will own significant cross-border securitisation and financing transactions with exposure to Irish Section 110 structures, CLOs, and fund finance.

The role offers meaningful client contact, strong progression, and a collaborative platform to deepen your structured finance expertise within a respected practice.

Qualifications

• Qualified Irish Solicitor with 5+ years PQE in finance.
• Extensive experience in structured finance, securitisation, debt capital markets, fund finance or related work.
• Strong drafting, transaction management and commercial judgement.
• Confident in client-facing roles and managing complex workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead significant workstreams across domestic and cross-border structured finance transactions.
• Advise banks, lenders, investment managers and corporate issuers on complex financing structures.
• Work on securitisations involving mortgage, auto loan and other asset-backed portfolios.
• Advise on transactions involving Irish Section 110 companies, CLO structures and direct lending platforms.
• Take ownership of subscription line, NAV and hybrid fund finance transactions.
• Mentor junior lawyers and contribute to the growth of the practice.

Signatus are partnering with a leading commercial law firm to hire a Senior Associate into its Structured Finance and Capital Markets practice.

This is a strong move for a finance lawyer who wants greater ownership of sophisticated Irish and international transactions, direct client exposure and a clear route to further progression within a highly regarded team.

You will work across securitisation, structured finance, capital markets, fund finance, CLOs and other complex credit structures.

What you will own

• Lead significant workstreams across domestic and cross border structured finance transactions
• Advise banks, non bank lenders, investment managers, corporate issuers and institutional investors on complex financing structures
• Work on securitisations involving mortgage, auto loan and other asset backed portfolios
• Advise on transactions involving Irish Section 110 companies, CLO structures and direct lending platforms
• Take ownership of subscription line, NAV and hybrid fund finance transactions
• Build trusted client relationships while mentoring junior lawyers and contributing to the continued growth of the practice

What we are looking for - Must haves

• Qualified Irish Solicitor -
• Typically 5+ years PQE gained within a strong finance practice
• Meaningful experience in structured finance, securitisation, debt capital markets, fund finance or closely related financing work
• Strong drafting, technical and transaction management capability
• Commercial judgement and confidence dealing directly with clients
• Ability to manage complex workstreams independently while working effectively within larger deal teams

Helpful but not essential

• Experience across more than one structured finance product area
• Exposure to mentoring junior lawyers or supporting business development activity
