Job summary

OXBO is seeking a Senior Asset Manager to support the technical and commercial management of an operational European portfolio of wind, solar and storage assets. You will focus on MV/HV systems, asset performance and stakeholder management, working across multiple sites and with utility partners.

This role provides exposure to a growing renewable energy investor with long-term progression opportunities, a collaborative team environment, and the chance to contribute to safe operations,

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Technical/commercial experience in renewable energy or energy infrastructure.
• Strong understanding of MV/HV electrical systems.
• Experience coordinating HV/MV operational activities.
• Strong commercial awareness with exposure to service contracts.
• Open to site-based candidates moving into Asset Management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical and commercial performance of operational renewable energy assets.
• Provide oversight of MV/HV electrical systems, supporting safe operations and switching procedures.
• Act as a key contact for HV/MV operational matters across the portfolio.
• Oversee contracts including O&M agreements, PPAs and asset management services.
• Manage relationships with service providers, grid operators and contractors.
• Support budgeting, O&M expenditure and performance improvement initiatives.
• Promote health, safety and environmental compliance across all assets.

Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a Senior Asset Manager to support the technical and commercial management of operational assets, with a strong focus on MV/HV systems, operational performance and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Manage the technical and commercial performance of operational renewable energy assets
• Provide oversight of MV/HV electrical systems, supporting safe operations, switching procedures and electrical system performance
• Act as a key point of contact for HV/MV operational matters, supporting best practice across the portfolio
• Oversee key contracts including O&M agreements, PPAs and asset management services
• Manage relationships with service providers, grid operators, contractors and other stakeholders
• Support budgeting, operational expenditure management and performance improvement initiatives
• Promote high standards of Health, Safety and Environmental compliance across all assets

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical Engineering desirable, or a related Engineering, Science or technical discipline
• Technical and/or commercial experience within renewable energy, power generation, utilities or other energy infrastructure environments
• Strong understanding of MV/HV electrical systems and associated operational procedures
• Previous experience managing, overseeing or coordinating HV/MV operational activities is highly desirable
• Strong commercial awareness with exposure to operational or service contracts
• Open to candidates from a more site-based background looking to move into Asset Management
