Job summary

Salesforce in Ireland is seeking an Art Director to join the Global Brand & Creative team on Flex Creative, turning complex ideas into bold visuals for digital, film, social, presentations, and events.

You will partner with copywriters, designers, strategists, producers, and the Flex Creative Associate Creative Director to align business goals with clear, on-brand concepts, and guide external partners while applying generative AI responsibly.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of art direction, design, or related creative experience.
• Strong portfolio showing conceptual thinking, art direction, and visual craft across channels.
• Skilled in typography, composition, color, motion, and design systems; proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud.

Responsibilities

• Develop original concepts and visual direction for brand campaigns and events.
• Collaborate with writers, designers, strategists, and producers to meet business goals.

Join Salesforce's Global Brand & Creative team in Ireland as an Art Director on Flex Creative, a team that brings adaptable creative support to high-priority brand and event initiatives. You turn complex business and product ideas into bold, memorable visual stories, and use emerging AI tools to explore ideas faster.

What You'll Actually Be Doing

• Develop original concepts and visual direction for brand campaigns and event experiences, taking ideas from first sketch to final delivery across digital, film, social, presentations, and environmental graphics.
• Partner with copywriters, designers, strategists, producers, and the Flex Creative Associate Creative Director to turn business goals into clear, strategically sound creative.
• Guide designers, animators, agencies, and vendors so final work matches the approved concept and meets a high standard of craft and Salesforce brand standards.
• Present ideas and the thinking behind them to creative leaders and senior stakeholders, and use generative AI responsibly to speed up concepting and production while keeping work original, inclusive, and on-brand.

You're Our Person If...

• You have 5+ years of art direction, design, or related creative experience in an agency, in-house team, or brand organization.
• You have a strong portfolio showing conceptual thinking, art direction, and visual craft across multiple channels and formats, including brand or event work.
• You are skilled in typography, composition, color, motion, and design systems, and in tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, and you present your ideas clearly to senior audiences.
• Degree or equivalent relevant experience required. Experience will be evaluated based on the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer roles, work experience, etc.)

Even Better If...

• You have experience with generative AI tools for concepting, visual development, or production.
• You are familiar with B2B, enterprise technology, or complex global brands.
• You are experienced in Figma and in giving creative direction to external partners without managing people directly.
