Job summary

Arcon Recruitment is seeking a Senior Architectural Technologist to join a growing practice in Ireland. The role offers remote or hybrid working with an office in Castlebar, Co.

Mayo, and involves producing and coordinating high-quality technical information for commercial projects using Revit. You will lead technical delivery, prepare 1:5 scale drawings, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior technologists, and ensure compliance with Irish regulations.

Qualifications

• Qualification in architectural technology or related discipline.
• Minimum of five years’ professional experience.
• Strong Irish commercial project experience.
• Thorough knowledge of Irish building regulations.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams and consultants.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of commercial architectural projects.
• Produce coordinated technical and construction drawing packages using Revit.
• Prepare accurate construction details, including 1:5 scale drawings.
• Coordinate information with multidisciplinary consultants.
• Chair or contribute to design and technical coordination meetings.
• Manage projects and technical packages with minimal supervision.
• Review drawings, specifications and construction information.
• Identify and resolve design, coordination and buildability issues.
• Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors and suppliers.
• Ensure compliance with Irish regulations and standards.
• Support and mentor junior architectural technologists.
