Job summary

Morgan McKinley is supporting a leading global pharmaceutical organisation in Ireland to appoint a Senior Process Commercialisation Engineer. The role sits at the intersection of process development, scale-up and commercial manufacture.

You'll lead new product introductions, technology transfers and ensure readiness for manufacturing. A strong track record in API processing and cross-functional collaboration is essential, with a Chemical Engineering degree.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in pharmaceutical API manufacturing or process development.
• Strong knowledge of chemical API processing and scale-up.
• Experience with commercialization, NPI or technology transfer.
• Track record of solving complex technical/manufacturing problems.
• Strong communication and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.

I’m currently supporting a leading global pharmaceutical organisation with the appointment of a Senior Process Commercialisation Engineer at their manufacturing site in Ireland.

This is a strong opportunity for an experienced API process engineer / process development professional who enjoys working at the point where process development, scale-up, technology transfer and commercial manufacturing come together.

The role will play a key part in bringing new products and technologies into commercial manufacture, as well as supporting transfers to and from the site.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Leading and supporting new product introductions and technology transfers
• Process development, optimisation and scale‑up of chemical API processes
• Supporting commercial manufacturing campaigns and process readiness
