Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a Senior Specialist - AI Operations to support production AI applications within our PDS. The role combines IT operations, cloud engineering, automation, and AIOps to ensure reliable, scalable AI workloads.

Partial remote work up to 50% over a two‑week period is available, with collaboration needs guiding the schedule. The ideal candidate has hands-on AWS, Kubernetes, IaC, and ML tooling experience, plus strong scripting and collaboration skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computers/Engineering or related field.
• 3+ years in IT operations, SRE, cloud engineering, or DevOps.
• Hands-on with AWS cloud services and IAM, storage, networking.
• Bilingual scripting: Python, Bash, PowerShell.
• Strong Kubernetes, Docker experience and CI/CD.
• Familiar with IaC tools like Terraform/CloudFormation/Ansible.
• Experience with ML tools and ML workflow platforms (LLMs).
• Knowledge of observability and monitoring basics.

Responsibilities

• AI Application Support & Production Operations: ensure availability and performance.
• Automation & AIOps Engineering: deploy containerized workloads and CI/CD for ML.
• System Monitoring, Reliability & Performance: define SLO/SLI and optimize costs.
• Cross‑Functional Collaboration: partner with AI/ML, software, data, product, and IT security.
