Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an experienced Senior AI Engineer to design, develop and deliver AI-enabled solutions for large-scale organisations. You will work across backend services, ML infrastructure, large language models, multi-agent systems and modern web technologies.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver AI solutions, applying MLOps, ensuring GDPR compliance and building intuitive, accessible user interfaces while mentoring colleagues and documenting key decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or related discipline.
• Experience in AI/ML engineering or applied machine learning.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain back-end AI-powered applications and services.
• Build and integrate LLMs and multi-agent systems using frameworks like Semantic Kernel or LangChain.
• Design front-end interfaces for AI apps using React, Vue.js and Angular.
• Integrate front-end components with AI APIs and back-end services via REST/GraphQL.
• Collaborate with data engineers, UX, product managers and QA to deliver AI solutions.
• Apply MLOps for model deployment, monitoring and lifecycle management.
• Maintain user interfaces that are intuitive, accessible and standards-compliant.
• Mentor team members and share knowledge across the team.
• Document AI models, limitations and decisions; ensure GDPR and Responsible AI alignment.
