Job summary

Gilbert Public Schools seeks a Senior Site Leader (VIK) to coordinate and monitor day-to-day activities for K through 6th grade in the VIK club. The role includes mentoring regional site leaders, activity leaders, and student workers, as well as organizing holiday and summer camps at the school site.

The position requires collaboration with staff, families, and enrichment specialists to maintain a high-quality program, while ensuring safety and compliance with DHS regulations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with school-age children in a licensed setting.
• Must possess a Level One IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• CPR/First Aid certification or recertification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school staff to design and support a quality program.
• Provide program information to staff and parents through newsletters and direct communication.
• Mentor site leaders, activity leaders and student workers in the region.
• Ensure safety and adherence to DHS regulations and program policies.
• Schedule and develop daily activity plans and coordinate events for holidays and summer camps.
