Job description

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Senior Ad Operations Executive to manage the delivery of digital audio and podcast advertising campaigns across AudioOne.

This is a hands-on role covering the full campaign lifecycle—from booking confirmation and campaign setup through to optimisation, financial reconciliation and final reporting.

The successful candidate will work closely with sales, finance, publishers, agencies, advertisers and technology partners to ensure campaigns are delivered accurately, efficiently and in line with agreed objectives.

The position will suit someone with strong digital advertising operations experience, comfortable managing multiple campaigns, platforms and stakeholders in a deadline-driven environment.

The person will always strive to deliver the most effective campaign through an understanding of campaign objectives, advertiser background and targeting.

Key Responsibilities

1.Campaign setup and management

Manage digital audio and podcast advertising campaigns from booking through to completion.

Review campaign briefs and insertion orders to confirm inventory, targeting, formats, pricing, timelines and delivery requirements.

Set up and traffic campaigns accurately across relevant ad-serving, podcast hosting and audio advertising platforms.

Implement targeting parameters, creative rotations, impression goals, frequency caps, tracking pixels and attribution tags.

Check advertising assets against the required technical specifications and coordinate the resolution of creative or trafficking issues.

Monitor pacing, delivery and performance throughout each campaign.

Identify under-delivery, over-delivery or other performance issues and implement appropriate corrective action.

Maintain accurate campaign records and ensure all relevant documentation is filed correctly.

2.Programmatic Advertising

Support the setup, delivery and optimisation of programmatic digital audio campaigns.

Manage private marketplace deals, preferred deals and programmatic guaranteed activity where required.

Liaise with agencies, demand-side platforms, supply-side platforms and other technology partners to troubleshoot activation and delivery issues.

Monitor bid activity, fill rates, win rates, targeting, inventory availability and campaign pacing.

Assist with deal ID creation, testing and activation.

Investigate discrepancies between ad servers, buying platforms and publisher reporting.

Maintain a working knowledge of developments in programmatic audio, podcast advertising, data usage, consent, brand safety and measurement.

3.Campaign Coordination

Act as the principal operational contact for assigned campaigns.

Work closely with the sales team to translate insertion orders into accurate campaign setups.

Coordinate with publishers and content partners to confirm inventory, campaign schedules and host-read or sponsorship deliverables.

Manage deadlines for briefing forms, approvals, audio creative, tracking materials, copy approval and campaign launches.

Communicate campaign status, delivery risks and required actions clearly to internal and external stakeholders.

Support the delivery of integrated campaigns that may include spot advertising, host reads, sponsorships, branded segments and programmatic inventory.

Maintain campaign trackers, booking systems and internal workflow tools.

4.Finance Coordination and Reconciliation

Work with the finance and commercial teams to ensure campaign bookings, delivery figures and billing information are accurate.

Reconcile booked, delivered and billable campaign activity at the end of each month or campaign period.

Coordinate responses to invoice and billing queries from advertisers, agencies, publishers and internal teams.

Help ensure that completed campaigns are closed and invoiced promptly.

5.Reporting and Analysis

Compile accurate final campaign reports for advertisers and agencies.

Consolidate data from ad servers, hosting platforms, programmatic systems, publishers and measurement partners. This information will be also used in the production of sales and marketing materials.

Report on relevant metrics such as impressions, reach, frequency, completion rates, listen-through rates, clicks, conversions and delivery against plan.

Provide clear commentary on campaign delivery, performance, optimisation and key learnings.

Assist the commercial team in interpreting campaign results and preparing client presentations.

Maintain campaign benchmarks and identify recurring operational or performance trends.

Recommend improvements to campaign setup, reporting and delivery processes.

Experience and qualifications

The successful candidate should have:

At least two and a half years’ experience in digital advertising operations, campaign management, programmatic advertising or a closely related role.

Experience managing campaigns across ad servers, programmatic platforms or digital publishing systems.

A good understanding of the digital advertising campaign lifecycle, including trafficking, tracking, optimisation, reconciliation and reporting.
