Job summary

FDC Group in Claremorris, Co. Mayo, is seeking a Senior Accountant/Manager to lead the office and drive client service.

You will manage day-to-day operations, mentor staff, and oversee tax compliance for farmers, businesses, and individuals. With more than seven years PQE and strong communication skills, you will build relationships with clients, supervise budgets, and contribute to the firm’s growth strategy within Ireland.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7+ years PQE in practice.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Experience supervising junior staff.
• Experience managing office budgets.
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities.
• Experience in all aspects of Irish taxation.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day office operations and schedule client assignments.

Responsibilities:

• Managing the office day to day operations together with scheduling client assignments reporting to the Regional Manager
• Supervise and mentor junior staff
• Approving and management of office budgets
• Managing own block of clients annually and develop strong client relationships together with progressing the strategic growth strategy of the organisation
• Personal & Corporate Tax returns for farmers, businesses and companies
• Consultancy assignments
• Deliver client assignments in a timely and professional manner

Candidate Profile:

• Must have strong interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to supervise and mentor junior staff
• Motivated self-starter with an ambition to continue progressing successfully your career
• Greater than 7 years post qualification experience in practice
• Experience managing office budgets
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Experienced in all aspects of Irish Taxation
