Job summary

FDC Group, Ltd. in Claremorris, Co. Mayo is seeking a Senior Accountant/Manager to lead day-to-day operations, supervise staff, and manage client portfolios including tax for farmers, businesses, and companies.

The role emphasizes strong client relationships and strategic growth within a locally rooted firm. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years PQE, robust interpersonal and communication skills, experience budgeting, and a deep knowledge of Irish taxation; ACCA accreditation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the office day-to-day operations with scheduling client assignments and reporting to the Regional Manager.
• Supervise and mentor junior staff.
• Approve and manage office budgets.
• Handle own block of clients annually and drive strategic growth.
• Prepare Personal & Corporate Tax returns for farmers, businesses, and companies.
• Deliver client assignments in a timely and professional manner.
