Job summary

Crane Co. (Panametrics) Shannon, Ireland, is seeking a Senior Accountant to partner with the Controller and drive financial discipline for the Irish entity and related international entities.

You will oversee month-end closes, maintain ledgers, ensure US GAAP, Irish GAAP, and SOX compliance, and support intercompany reconciliations, VAT, audits, and tax work. You will collaborate with operations, manufacturing, and FP&A teams to analyze results, drive process improvements, and mentor staff

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive finance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with month-end close, cost accounting and FP&A.
• Experience with VAT and statutory reporting in Ireland/EMEA.

Responsibilities

• Lead Irish entity accounting and month-end close.
• Prepare balance sheets, P&L, and cash flow.
• Ensure US GAAP, Irish GAAP, and SOX compliance.
• Coordinate with auditors and tax advisors.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A.
• Mentor staff accountants and drive process improvements.
