Job summary

Think Differently in Ireland is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our growing team. You will manage live campaigns, build client and media relationships, and craft compelling content for pitches, releases and social channels.

The role requires 2+ years in PR or communications, a relevant BA/BSc, and strong writing, editing and presentation skills. Some after-hours events may be expected as part of the responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Two+ years in public relations, communications or related field.
• Degree in PR, communications or journalism required or equivalent.
• Proficient in major social platforms (TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram).
• Capable of budget tracking for sponsorships, events and materials.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting.

Responsibilities

• Manage live campaigns and projects daily.
• Build relationships with clients, suppliers and media; issue releases.
• Contribute ideas for marketing initiatives and client campaigns.
• Conduct research on topics and build press clippings with juniors.
• Create content for pitches, plans, releases and social briefs.
• Maintain company social media and develop new ideas with the team.
• Update media lists and assist with outreach lists with juniors.
• Coordinate gifting and outreach; handle client calls when needed.
• Train and support junior team members.

Job description

My client is a growing communications company that delivers PR and social communications for its clients. They are passionate and ideation and their clients communications solutions. They are now looking to hire and experienced a SeniorAccountExecutive for their growing team.

Main Responsibilities

• Managing live campaigns and projects on a day to day basis.
• Building relationships with clients and potential clients, suppliers, and the media.
  Issuing media releases to journalists.
• Offering input on marketing initiatives and suggesting creative ways to add to
  client campaigns.
• Conducting research on various topics.
• Monitoring of media coverage on events and media releases that were issued
  and creating press clippings in conjunction with junior team members.
• Creating engaging content for pitches, plans, media releases, content creator
  briefs and social media platforms.
• Updating and maintaining the company's social media pages with a willingness
  to come up with new ideas and follow through on those ideas in conjunction with
  junior team members.
• Updating media lists in conjunction with junior team members.
• Compiling gifting boxes and outreach lists in conjunction with junior team
  members.
• Confidence in managing client calls where required.
• Training and supporting junior team members.

Requirements:

• At least two years of industry experience.
• Completion of BA or BSc degree in public relations, communication, or
  journalism.
• Excellent understanding of various social media platforms including TikTok,
  Twitter, LinkedIn, and Instagram.
• Efficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Basic budget management skills to track spending on sponsorships, events, and
  marketing material.
• Comfortable with public speaking and engaging with customers.
• Good research and analytical skills.
• The ability to prioritise your workload and keep to strict content deadlines.
• Willingness to attend events after hours and on weekends.
• Knowledge of copywriting and editing.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• A can do attitude along with a sense of humour.

Salary from €32,000 DOE
