Job summary

The role involves advising teachers and parents, creating SEN-friendly environments, delivering skills training, collaborating with external specialists, and maintaining progress records for ASD students.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Special Education or equivalent is required.
• 3 years of similar working experience.
• 3 years of experience conducting structured dyslexia intervention programmes or similar.

Responsibilities

• Provide withdrawal and in-class SEN support, including prompting, calming, visual aids, and communication help.
• Consult and provide feedback to teachers and parents on student needs and progress.
• Set up and maintain SEN-friendly environments and resources (visual prompts, differentiated worksheets).
• Deliver skills training (organizational, anger management, handwriting) and peer support.
• Collaborate with external professionals and contribute to case conferences.
• Maintain records and conduct pre-orientation for ASD students using progress monitoring tools.
