Job summary

ICDS Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service semiconductor equipment in County Kildare. The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance, strong troubleshooting, and a flexible travel schedule for training overseas.

A Stamp 4 visa or Ireland residence is required, and a driving licence is essential. Shifts are 12 hours (days then nights), with initial overseas training of 5–10 weeks.

Qualifications

• Third-level qualification (Level 7–9) in a relevant technical field.
• Hands-on technical experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance.
• Experience in field service, technician or trades roles (e.g., plumber, electrician).

Responsibilities

• Service and maintenance of semiconductor equipment in the field.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical issues during shifts.
