Job summary

ICDS Group is seeking a Field Service Engineer to service semiconductor equipment in County Kildare. The role requires hands-on electrical and mechanical maintenance, strong troubleshooting, and a flexible travel schedule for training overseas.

A Stamp 4 visa or Ireland residence is required, and a driving licence is essential. Shifts are 12 hours (days then nights), with initial overseas training of 5–10 weeks.

Job Description

Field Service Engineer - semiconductor. County Kildare. Our client is responsible for the service and maintenance of semiconductor equipment. We are recruiting Field Service Engineers with a strong mix of both mechanical and electrical skillsets, with troubleshooting and maintenance experience. The work pattern will be 12 hour shifts (one month of days followed by one month of nights, 7am to 7pm and 7pm to 7am). There will be an initial training period overseas of 5-10 weeks, so interested applicants must be flexible to travel overseas in one block for up to 10 weeks. Applicants should hold a 3rd level qualification (Level 7, 8, or 9) and have hands-on technical experience in areas such as:

• Electrical and mechanical maintenance
• Technician or mechanic roles
• Trade experience (e.g., plumber, electrician)

Candidates must hold a Stamp 4 visa or be resident in Ireland. Must hold or be in the process of obtaining a driving licence.
