Job summary

Technify Talent is seeking Field Service Engineers to support semiconductor manufacturing equipment at customer sites in Leixlip, Ireland. This role involves installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrades of advanced equipment, with a focus on keeping customer operations running at high uptime.

The successful candidate will have an associate degree or higher in a technical discipline, plus field service experience, and strong troubleshooting skills.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or higher in a technical discipline.
• Experience in field service, customer support or a similar technical engineering role.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Proven troubleshooting and fault-finding experience.
• Practical understanding of mechanical, electrical, vacuum, pneumatic or hydraulic systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and upgrade advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment issues using diagnostic and analytical tools.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance across electrical, mechanical, vacuum, plasma, hydraulic and gas systems.
• Interpret electrical and mechanical schematics to identify and resolve technical faults.
• Work directly with customers to maximise equipment performance and uptime.
• Take ownership of technical issues from initial diagnosis through to resolution.
• Support critical customer operations within a 24/7 shift environment.
