Job summary

GCS Recruitment is seeking a Security Architect to craft and optimise security tooling and product architecture with hands-on depth and strategic thinking. You will work across endpoint security, IAM, cloud security, SIEM and threat detection, with an emphasis on CrowdStrike expertise.

You will evaluate new security products, drive integration across infrastructure and cloud environments, and define standards and runbooks while partnering with engineering, compliance and incident response teams

Qualifications

• 7+ years in security roles including architecture, engineering or tool evaluation.
• Hands-on experience deploying and optimising enterprise security products in production.
• Broad knowledge across IAM/PAM/SSO, EDR and endpoint protection, cloud security, network security, SIEM, vulnerability management, and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Design and architect security solutions across endpoint, identity, cloud, SIEM and threat detection domains.
• Evaluate new security products, conduct technical assessments and provide vendor recommendations.
• Integrate and optimise security tools across infrastructure, applications and cloud environments.
• Define security standards, runbooks and architecture documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, infrastructure, compliance and incident response teams.
• Stay current with evolving security product landscape and suggest improvements.
• Support incident response and threat investigations by ensuring tooling is configured effectively.
• Mentor technical teams on security tool best practices and emerging capabilities.
