Job summary

Notion is seeking a hands-on Corporate Security Engineer to own and evolve security controls across identity, endpoints, SaaS, and workforce infrastructure. You’ll partner with IT, Infrastructure, GRC, and Detection & Response to improve the security foundations that employees rely on daily.

This role focuses on scalable security automation, governance of AI tool usage at the endpoint, and reducing SaaS risk through SSPM tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on corporate/security engineering experience in a cloud-native company.
• Hands-on with identity providers (Okta/Entra/Google Workspace) and protocols (SAML/OIDC/OAuth 2.0/SCIM).
• Experience operating endpoint management and security tooling across macOS and enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Own and evolve core security controls for identity, endpoints, SaaS, and workforce infrastructure.
• Collaborate with IT, Infrastructure, GRC and Detection & Response to improve security foundations.
• Write automation code (Python, Terraform) for access reviews, onboarding/offboarding, drift detection, and audit evidence collection.
• Assist with SOC 2, ISO 27001 and audits as part of engineering practices.
• Support incident response for security events including phishing and account compromise.
