Job summary

SITA is seeking a Security Test Analyst in Ireland to strengthen security, quality and resilience of software solutions. You will define and implement the Security Test Strategy, using DAST tools like Octane and Azure DevOps to identify vulnerabilities throughout the SDLC.

You will execute security testing, triage findings, and produce clear test and security reports. You will work with DevOps teams to automate scalable security testing and improve testing practices for CI/CD and DevSecOps

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Test Analyst with hands-on security testing and vulnerability identification.
• Strong knowledge of modern software testing methodologies including functional, integration and security testing.
• Experience with Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST) tools and triaging security findings.
• Experience testing REST and SOAP web services/APIs using Postman and SoapUI.
• Experience in Agile, DevOps and CI/CD environments, understanding how security fits into SDLC.
• Azure DevOps experience for test management, defect tracking and delivery processes is desirable.
• ISTQB certification is desirable.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of security testing activities to ensure software meets security, quality, and resilience standards.
• Execute and analyze DAST scans, triage findings, and track issues in Octane.
• Perform manual security testing and identify opportunities to automate repeatable tests.
• Develop effective security test plans, scenarios, and coverage from requirements and architecture.
• Define test environments, data, tools, and resources for security testing.
• Collaborate with developers and architects to investigate vulnerabilities and verify fixes.
