Job summary

The Recruitment Company in Dublin is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to integrate security into the software development lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, and to strengthen application security across web, API and mobile projects.

You will work closely with developers and DevOps teams in a hybrid Dublin-based role, applying SAST/DAST tools, secure coding practices, and knowledge of authentication, authorization, and encryption.

Qualifications

• 5+ years IT experience including 2+ years in Application Security.
• Strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10 across web, API and mobile.
• Experience in DevOps/DevSecOps environments.
• Hands-on with SAST and DAST tools.
• Ability to read, understand and edit code at an intermediate level.
• Knowledge of secure coding principles, authentication and authorisation, and encryption.

Responsibilities

• Integrating security into the software development lifecycle and CI/CD pipelines.
• Identifying and remediating vulnerabilities across web applications, APIs and mobile applications.
• Using SAST and DAST tools to identify security weaknesses before code reaches production.
• Working closely with developers and DevOps teams to improve secure coding practices.
• Applying knowledge of authentication, authorisation, data validation and encryption to strengthen application security.
