Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a PSA Security Licence and a Door Supervisor Licence, a Full EU Driving Licence, and proven experience in security or customer-facing roles, with excellent communication and observational

Responsibilities

Adare Manor is seeking a professional and motivated Security Operative - Night Shift to join our Security Team. This role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual who is passionate about safety, security, and delivering exceptional service within one of Ireland's most prestigious hospitality destinations.

As part of our night shift team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our guests, team members, visitors, and estate during overnight operations while contributing to the warm and welcoming atmosphere that Adare Manor is renowned for.

The Role

As Security Operative - Night Shift, You Will Help Maintain a Secure, Safe, And Welcoming Environment Across The Estate Throughout The Night While Supporting The Overnight Operation Of The Resort. You Will

• Conduct routine patrols of the estate, ensuring the safety and security of guests, team members, and property during overnight hours.
• Monitor and respond appropriately to security incidents, alarms, and emergency situations.
• Control access to the property and maintain accurate records where required.
• Provide a visible and reassuring presence throughout the resort during the night.
• Deliver exceptional guest service while assisting late-arriving guests, visitors, and team members in a professional manner.
• Complete security reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Work collaboratively with all departments, including Night Management, to ensure a safe and secure environment across the estate.
• Assist with lock-up procedures, security checks, and overnight monitoring of the estate.

About You

We are looking for a Security Operative who brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and a genuine passion for hospitality. You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in a security, safety, or customer-facing role.
• A valid PSA Security Licence & Door Supervisor Licence.
• Full EU Driving License
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• A calm and professional approach when dealing with incidents and emergencies.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• The ability to work confidently and independently during overnight shifts.
• A commitment to delivering exceptional service while maintaining the highest standards of safety and security.
