Job summary

Bidvest Noonan is seeking a Security Operations Manager to lead a high‑end security team at a prestigious client site. You will oversee day‑to‑day operations, ensure compliance with policies, and act as the principal client contact to elevate service quality.

You will coordinate responses to incidents, manage rostering and training, and drive continuous improvements while reporting to the contract manager. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• A valid SIA Licence (Security Guarding/Door Supervision) or equivalent.
• Proven experience managing security teams in high-end environments.
• Strong communication with clients and senior management.
• Knowledge of ISO 22301 and business continuity is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate the security team, ensuring client values are reflected in daily operations.
• Be on call 24/7 unless proper cover is arranged at the same management level or above.
• Submit monthly reports to contract manager in a timely, professional manner.
• Liaise with client and police as required; manage incident responses and escalation.
• Maintain site documentation and ensure compliance with contracts and policies.
• Support service improvements and maintain audit-ready records.
