Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd in Dublin South is recruiting a full-time Security Officer to ensure safety and security for the site. You will work a 36-hour week across Monday to Sunday shifts, with on-site duties and routine patrols.

Key responsibilities include CCTV monitoring, access control, incident reporting, liaising with the client and emergency services, and completing on-site paperwork to quality standards. A PSA licence and willingness to undergo a 5-year background check are required.

Responsibilities

• Punctual attendance at the required site location.
• Carry out on-site security requirements including patrols.
• Monitor CCTV cameras and footage.
• Manage access control and monitoring.
• Perform searches of people and vehicles as needed.
• Record security events in the onsite log.
• Respond to emergencies and support evacuations.
• Establish perimeter and access controls.
• Liaise with emergency services when required.
• Complete paperwork in line with quality procedures.
• Coordinate with client and National Call Centre on issues.
• Perform ad-hoc duties as directed by Security Manager.

Job description

We are currently recruiting for a Full-Time Security Officer to be based in Dublin South.

Shift Pattern: Monday to Sunday, 36 hours per week

Main duties and responsibilities

• Present for work at the designed time at the location required
• Follow on site security requirements including but not limited to internal and external patrols
• Monitoring CCTV cameras and footage
• Access control and monitoring
• Searching people and vehicles as and when required
• Report any security events in the onsite log
• Deal with emergency situations including but not limited to Initial alert and evacuations
• Establishing parameter and access control
• Support emergency services
• Complete the onsite paperwork in a clear format adhering to all quality procedures both from a company and client perspective
• Liaise with client and their National Call Centre regarding any security issues or problems
• Any ad-hoc duties assigned to you by the Security Manager

Qualifications and experience

• Must have a valid PSA Licence
• Successful candidate will also be required to consent to 5-year background check, offer is subject to passing background check
