Job summary

Securitas in Dublin 1 is seeking a dedicated Security Officer to help protect people and property while delivering welcoming, professional service.

You will monitor access, patrol premises, respond to alarms, and maintain accurate incident logs, written reports and security system operations.

The role offers flexible shifts Monday to Sunday, with a minimum 36 hours per week, and a strong benefits package supporting your wellbeing and development.

Qualifications

• PSA Licence required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
• Flexible to work various shifts including nights and weekends.
• Own transport desirable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and control access to client premises, ensuring only authorized personnel are admitted.
• Carry out regular patrols and inspections to deter and detect suspicious activity.
• Respond swiftly to alarms and emergencies, acting decisively and calmly.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a strong security presence.
• Write clear, accurate incident reports and maintain security logs.
• Operate security systems and surveillance equipment as required.
• Ensure compliance with site-specific procedures and protocols.

Job Description
