Job summary

Mariam ADEME is seeking a dedicated Security Engineer for end-to-end security of a platform with 50+ million users. You will review code with developers (Git/GitHub), remediate vulnerabilities, and perform pen tests and audits while maintaining a risk register.

The role also covers device/access security, awareness training, phishing simulations, and AI-specific risks. The position is fully remote from Europe on a B2B contractor basis, with CET hours overlap and occasional evenings.

Responsibilities

• Code review and vulnerability remediation with developers (Git/GitHub).
• Conduct pen tests and audits.
• Maintain risk register and assess AI-related risks (prompt injection, jailbreaks).
• Oversee device and access security.
• Lead security awareness and phishing simulations.

Job description

I am recruiting the only dedicated Security Engineer of a platform with 50+ million users, end to end: code review and vulnerability remediation with developers (Git/GitHub), pen tests and audits, risk register, device and access security, awareness and phishing simulations, and AI-specific risks such as prompt injection and jailbreaks. Direct collaboration with engineering leadership; technical and independent, not compliance-only.

About the company and the contract:

• Fast-growing international consumer AI company. The product is an AI companion app with adult/NSFW content: full comfort with this is required.
• Fully remote from Europe, B2B contractor basis, about 80% overlap with CET hours, occasional evening or weekend monitoring.
• Salary: 65 000 to 85 000 € (mid level) or 85 000 to 115 000 € (senior level) gross per year, depending on experience.
