Job summary

Sentinel Fire & Security Ltd. in Cork is seeking experienced Security Engineers to install, service and repair CCTV, intruder alarms, access control, and fire alarm systems for commercial and residential clients nationwide.

You will work across Cork and Limerick regions, delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service while maintaining compliance and operational safety.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the security and fire industry.
• Fully qualified Security Engineer.
• Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills.
• Experience working with CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and Fire Alarm systems.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

The successful candidates will be responsible primarily for the installation, maintenance, servicing, and repair of:

• CCTV Systems
• Intruder Alarm Systems
• Access Control Systems
• Fire Alarm Systems
• Barrier Systems
• Automated Gates

You will work across a variety of client sites, ensuring systems are maintained to the highest standards and remain fully compliant and operational.

Requirements

Proven experience in the security and fire industry

Fully qualified Security Engineer

Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting skills

Experience working on CCTV, Intruder Alarms, Access Control, and Fire Alarm systems

Full clean driving licence

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Excellent communication and customer service skills
