Job summary

Arista Networks is seeking Graduate Engineers to learn world‑leading product development in C/C++, Go, Java and additional languages. You will work at the intersection of software and hardware, touching Linux kernel, drivers and networking ASICs, with exposure to cutting‑edge SDN technologies.

You will implement protocols (LLDP, BGP, OSPF, ISIS), write Python for hardware bootstrapping, and build agents coordinating between ASICs, FPGAs and PCIe bridges.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related fields (Bachelor’s, Master’s, PhD).
• Proficiency in C/C++, Java, Python, Go, React.js/Redux.js/Node.js and networking.
• Strong analytical skills and collaborative communication in technical teams.
• Intellectual curiosity and passion for solving challenging problems using technology.

Responsibilities

• Write Linux user space and kernel code for DMA and memory management across 32/64-bit spaces.
• Develop software across hardware/software boundary including ASICs, FPGAs and PCIe interfaces.
• Implement network protocols (LLDP, 802.1x, BFD, BGP, OSPF, ISIS) and update forwarding state.
• Develop configuration management services using Go and Python with NETCONF/RESTCONF over gRPC/SSH.
• Create routing protocol agents in C/C++ within a Fedora Linux embedded environment.
