Job summary

ESB Networks in Dublin 18 is seeking a SCADA Team Member to join the Operations Systems Support team. The role focuses on supporting the SCADA system, NMS and Distribution Automation, ensuring safe, reliable operation of the distribution network.

You will engage in data engineering, system and database administration, commissioning and project work, plus training users and driving best practices in network operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years post-graduate experience in Operations Technology.
• Level 8 qualification in Engineering.
• Knowledge of SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of substation RTUs and SCS systems.
• Familiarity with control wiring and equipment.
• Experience with network operation systems and project delivery.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage 24x7 support of the SCADA systems.
• Support development & implementation of operations systems for safe network management.
• Ensure reliable operation of SCADA, NMS and Distribution Automation systems nationwide.
• Stay updated with best practices in network operation systems.
• Provide training to users to ensure effective system use.
• Contribute to ESB Networks strategy for technology deployment.
