Job summary

Global Life Science Hub is seeking an SAP Implementation Project Manager to lead a major ERP rollout at its Tipperary manufacturing site in Ireland.

The role focuses on delivering SAP deployments across manufacturing, supply chain, quality and IT within a live GMP environment, coordinating internal teams and external partners, while ensuring data integrity, validation, and timely go-live readiness for July 2027.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience managing SAP implementations or major ERP transformation projects.
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments (pharma/biotech/med devices).
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing operations, supply chain processes and ERP integration.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams and tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage planning, coordination and delivery of the SAP implementation at the manufacturing site.
• Develop and maintain project plans, implementation schedules, milestones and resource requirements.
• Coordinate activities between internal business functions, global IT teams and external SAP implementation partners.
• Manage project risks, dependencies, issues and change requests throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Oversee business readiness activities, including process mapping, data migration, system testing and user acceptance testing.
• Coordinate training, stakeholder communications and change management activities to support system adoption.
• Ensure implementation activities are appropriately documented and aligned with GMP, data integrity and applicable validation requirements.
• Monitor project progress, provide regular updates to senior stakeholders and escalte critical issues where necessary.
• Support go-live planning, cutover activities and post-implementation stabilisation.

Global Life Science Hub is recruiting an SAP Implementation Project Manager for a rapidly expanding pharmaceutical manufacturing facility in Tipperary, Ireland.

Following the successful transition from R&D into commercial manufacturing, the site has nearly doubled its workforce and is preparing for the next phase of growth, including further product launches and a major SAP rollout scheduled for July 2027.

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager to play a key role in delivering this implementation, working across manufacturing, supply chain, quality and IT within a live GMP environment.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Previous experience within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device or regulated manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, supply chain processes and ERP integration.
• Experience managing cross-functional project teams and third-party implementation partners.
• Knowledge of SAP implementation methodologies, project governance and change management.
• Experience coordinating data migration, system integration testing and UAT.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, competing priorities and tight project deadlines.
