Job summary

Deloitte Ireland LLP is seeking an experienced SAP Architect to lead full lifecycle SAP implementations, shaping S/4HANA and analytics architectures across industries. You will design complex landscapes and drive client workshops with senior stakeholders.

The role emphasizes data architecture, cross-functional leadership, and mentoring, with a flexible hybrid model in Dublin or Cork and opportunities to work on client sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Extensive SAP technical architecture experience including S/4HANA, Analytics Cloud, Data Cloud, BW, and integration to analytics platforms.
• Proven end-to-end architectural design across hybrid SAP landscapes.
• Deep knowledge of data analytics, data warehousing, and SAP HANA.
• Ability to lead client workshops and communicate with C-level stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring consultants and managing cross-functional delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead presales activities including solution shaping, proposal development, and client presentations at senior management and C-level.
• Identify and pilot SAP Business AI use cases to enhance client processes.
• Advise on SAP SAC/BDC components to extend S/4HANA in a clean core-compliant manner.
• Mentor junior and mid-level consultants and foster knowledge sharing.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships as a strategic SAP transformation partner.
• Provide trusted advisory support to Directors and Partners.

Key skills and prior experience that align well with this position:

Extensive, progressive experience in SAP technical architecture including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Analytics Cloud, Business Data cloud, BW, and integration to other analytics platforms. A proven track record of designing complex architectures across industries such as manufacturing, retail, FMCG, and pharmaceuticals. 15+ years of experience in SAP delivery roles (Architect, Technical Lead, Project Manager, or equivalent), with proven end-to-end architectural design experience across hybrid SAP landscapes Deep knowledge of data analytics, data warehousing, SAP S/4HANA architecture, SAP HANA in-memory technology, and landscape planning. Demonstrated ability to lead client workshops, present confidently to C-level stakeholders, and drive consensus on complex architectural decisions Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to translate business requirements (in business language) into system, process, and data design Experience managing cross-functional delivery teams and mentoring consultants across all levels Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to produce high-quality architecture documentation and proposals Strong understanding of SAP data architecture, business reporting requirements, and integration technologies. Strong client relationship management skills, combining technical knowledge with business acumen to align stakeholders and deliver successful outcomes.

What type of work will I be doing?

Where is this role based?

This role is based in Dublin or Cork, with a flexible working model supporting hybrid arrangements combining office presence and remote work. You will also have opportunities to work on client sites as projects require.
