Job summary

Sandvik in Dublin is seeking an experienced Accountant to join the Finance Team for a 12-month fixed-term, hybrid role in our Dublin office.

You will manage monthly management reporting, journal entries, reconciliations, and balance sheet reviews, while supporting month-end close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years PQE, ACA/ACCA, SAP knowledge, and strong communication skills. We offer generous leave, pension, health insurance, onsite gym and flexible hours.

Qualifications

• Qualified Accountant - ACA or ACCA.
• 3+ years PQE in accounting.
• Experience with SAP is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reporting for P&L and Balance Sheet.
• Support month-end activities: journal entries, reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Review month-end results and understand key business drivers.
• Develop relationships with stakeholders and provide routine/ad hoc analysis to management.
• Mentor junior team members and support the Finance team.
• Review Balance Sheet reconciliations and uphold internal controls.
