Job summary

A&L Goodbody LLP is seeking bright, personable lawyers to join its market-leading Sanctions & Export Controls group in Ireland. The role targets solicitors with 1–4 years PQE, a genuine interest in sanctions, export controls, white collar crime or regulatory investigations, and experience in corporate law from a sizable firm.

You'll advise domestic and international clients, translate evolving sanctions regimes into practical guidance, and collaborate with our white collar and litigation teams

Qualifications

• Solicitors with genuine interest in sanctions, export controls or related areas.
• 1–4 years PQE in corporate law.
• Experience in large, medium or boutique firms preferred.
• Able to work with Irish and international clients.

Responsibilities

• Advise on sanctions and export controls affecting clients’ operations and supply chains.
• Translate evolving regulatory developments into practical guidance.
• Provide strategic advice on investigations and potential prosecutions.
• Assist corporates on white collar crime exposure, including fraud and corruption.
• Represent clients in interactions with regulators and authorities.
• Collaborate with disputes teams on complex corporate crises.
