Garryvoe Hotel in East Cork is seeking an experienced Sales & Marketing Manager to lead corporate, MICE, group, leisure and weddings business across the property. This hands-on role works with the management team to drive growth for Garryvoe and its sister property, Bayview Hotel.

The role requires strong sales leadership, market awareness, and the ability to work with Revenue, Reservations, Events and Marketing teams to secure new business and optimise performance.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hotel sales or a similar commercial role.
• Experience with CRM and PMS systems (Hotsoft, Revinate) and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual sales/marketing strategy across Corporate, MICE, Group and Leisure markets.
• Assist Weddings & Events team with proposals, show-arounds and follow-up actions.
• Identify, target and convert new business opportunities.
• Manage and grow existing accounts.
• Collaborate with Revenue to negotiate corporate rates, group proposals and events.
• Conduct client meetings, site visits and familiarisation trips.
• Represent Garryvoe and Bayview hotels at trade shows and events.

Sales & Marketing Manager

Garryvoe Hotel, East Cork

The Garryvoe hotel part of the Original Irish Hotels Group in East Cork, is seeking an experienced and commercially focused Sales & Marketing Manager to lead and develop Corporate, MICE, Group, Leisure and Weddings business across our property.

This is a hands-on leadership role working closely with the Management team to support growth for both Garryvoe and its sister property, the Bayview Hotel - positioned as an exclusive venue for weddings, groups, and private events.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute an annual sales/marketing strategy plan across Corporate, MICE, Group and Leisure markets.
• Assist in the Weddings & Events Department if required i.e. send proposals, assist with wedding show-arounds, follow up calls and emails.
• Identify, target and convert new business opportunities.
• Manage and grow existing accounts.
• Work closely with the Revenue Manager to negotiate corporate rates, group proposals and event business.
• Conduct client meetings, sales calls, site inspections and familiarisation visits.
• Represent the Garryvoe and Bayview hotels at trade shows, networking events and industry events.
• Look after all print and marketing assets (brochures, menus, signage etc)
• Work closely with Revenue, Reservations, Events and Marketing teams.
• Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify new business opportunities.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular sales reports and forecasts.

Who We Are Looking For

• Previous experience in hotel sales, hospitality business development or a similar commercial role.
• Experience managing/working with external agencies (Social media,SEO/digital)
• Experience with CRM and PMS systems (e.g. Hotsoft, Revinate)
• Proven ability to generate new business, manage accounts and achieve revenue targets.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Commercially focused, proactive, organised and results-driven.
• Experience within a four/five star hospitality environment is desirable.
• A full clean driving licence, own transport.
• Based in or willing to relocate to East Cork
